Intrepid Digital is a growth and customer experience marketing agency that builds strategies that scale our clients' businesses. We specialize in SEO/Content Marketing, Paid & Organic Media, Conversion Optimization, Performance Creative, and Analytics.

The Senior Media Buyer is responsible for owning performance on key client accounts — planning, launching, and optimizing campaigns across paid channels to hit aggressive growth and efficiency targets.

You are deep in the platforms daily, obsessed with numbers, and comfortable taking accountability for performance. You'll collaborate with strategy, creative, and analytics, but you'll own the results.

Campaign Strategy & Build

• Provide your input and expertise across channel and campaign strategy based on client goals, audience, offer, and funnel
• Build and manage campaigns primarily across Meta/Google/YouTube/TikTok etc.
• Structure campaigns and ad sets to balance scale, control, and testing rigor
• Create and maintain testing plans for creatives, audiences, bids/budgets, and landing pages

Optimization & Performance Management

• Monitor performance daily, adjusting budgets, bids, and targeting based on real-time data
• Identify patterns and insights from performance data and translate them into actionable next steps
• Manage spend efficiently against ROAS/CAC/MER targets and proactively flag issues before they become problems
• Maintain clean, organized ad accounts with consistent naming conventions and documentation

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with the Director of Paid Media and account leads to align strategy and expectations
• Collaborate with creative teams to brief new assets and provide feedback rooted in performance data
• Clearly communicate what's working, what's not, and what you're testing next in client calls and internal meetings
• Provide input on landing pages and funnels where they materially impact paid performance

Tracking & Reporting

• Ensure tracking is properly set up (pixels, events, conversions, UTMs, GA4, etc.)
• Build and maintain performance reports that highlight the "so what" — not just a dump of numbers
• Log tests and outcomes in shared documentation so learnings are visible across the team

Must-Haves

• 4–7+ years of hands-on experience managing paid media campaigns
• Strong expertise in at least one major platform (Meta or Google) and working knowledge of others
• Proven experience scaling spend while maintaining or improving efficiency (ROAS/CAC)
• High level of comfort working in multiple client accounts simultaneously
• Solid understanding of customer journeys, funnels, and how paid traffic fits into the bigger picture
• You think in terms of hypotheses, tests, and learnings, not random tweaks

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience in ecommerce / B2B / Sports & Ticketing / Real Estate
• Experience with creative testing at scale (e.g., UGC, hooks, angles, concept iterations)
• Familiarity with The Trade Desk or similar DSPs
• Basic understanding of CRO principles

• You're the go-to owner on several key accounts
• Your accounts have clear testing cadences and documented learnings
• You've helped meaningfully grow revenue or improve efficiency on your accounts
